    Iconic Benicia restaurant undergoes TV show overhaul

    BENICIA -- Food Network reality show "Restaurant: Impossible" overhauled longtime family-run Pappas Restaurant on East Second Street this week.

    The show tries to rescue struggling restaurants by shutting them down for two days of renovations and menu tweaks orchestrated by host and celebrity chef Robert Irvine.
