    Fatal shooting in West Oakland

    Police are investigating a fatal shooting that happened in West Oakland late Friday.

    Officers responded to the 800 block of Center Street around 9:20 p.m., police said.

    A man was taken to a hospital in critical condition and later pronounced dead, according to police. ...
